This page is for photos of grave stones only....I have taken photos of grave stones i have found in two cemeteries in WI One was the Loraine Towship Cemetery  and the other was the Oak Grove Cemetery in Frederic WI.....there is one exception, I recieved a photo of my Gr Gr Grandpa Samuel Hunters gravestone he was buried in Diamond Bluff WI....I have tried, when possible to put a photo of the person next to his or her grave stone.....

John is the oldest son of samuel hunter and nancy agnes blair/hunter he was born = 3-4-1822 to 2-21-1900 in PA  on the stone with him is his 2nd wife nancy 'annie"   b=8-8-1838 to 10-21-1915 she was born in Ireland  they were married in PA on  July 31, 1862......they are my great great grandparents.....  they each have their own seperate stone  and i do have those photos also..... just not on the web site. Both are buried in the Loraine Cemetery in WI 

The Loraine church is located right on the lot of the cemetery its a cute little church....... located in Loraine Township of WI

Samuel Hunter=  b= 8-15-1792 to 8-14-1883 born on a ship comeing from Ireland to PA was married twice   1st to Nancy "Agnes" Blair  b=1792-1846 and they had 5 children together they are my great great great grandparents......& 2nd to Abby Ellen Alford  b=1848-1888 with whom he had 3 more children she had 3 sons from her first marriage also (Hastings 1st husband)she is buried in the Loraine Cemetery in WI   Nancy Agnes Blair is buried in the Mt. Blair Cemetery in PA near her parents and some of her children..... and Samuel is buried in  Diamond Bluff WI ..... 

This is a new photo Of Samuel's Grave Stone Lorri who has been sharing info with me she live closer to the Cemetery Samuel is buried and took a picture and sent it to me I thought I would share it with you & take this chance to thank Lorri for her info & photos she has shared with me.      

Abby or "Ellen" as some know her by was my gr gr gr grandpa Samuel Hunters 2nd wife she was born in NY Aug 13 1813... and died Nov 25, 1888 in Wood Lake township WI they were married May 16, 1848 they had 3 sons together..she was married once before to John Hastings and she had 3 sons with him also...Zalman, Adam, & Steven....

William Long Hunter b=1-25-1849  d=5-9-1932   m=Cora Edna Thing on 12-22-1868 they had about 8 children together....William's parents were John Blair Hunter and Rebecca Jane Malott (Murlatte) he was born in Crawford Co PA and died in Coomer WI buried in the Loraine cemetery in WI..... 

Wayne blair Hunter my dad ... b=9-8-1934  d=10-18-2001 he died from cancer while in the st croix falls wi nursing home.... he married Marlene Joyce Freitag they had 4 children together he was born and raised in frederic wi......he was a huge vikings football fan even when surrounded by greenbay packer fans in Osceola WI, he loved it all the more...osceola is where he spent the last few years of his life... he had a girlfriend of many years --anita peterson they traveled to florida by train a few times together to visit one of his daughters they had a good time doing that together...at the time of his death he had 7 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren  he is buried in the loraine cemetery in wi

Benjamin Earl Hunter was the son of William Long Hunter and Cora Edna Thing/Hunter he was born 12-6-1892 in Beldenville WI and he died 9-24-1956 in Frederic WI.... he married-- Olive Bertina Strout who was the daughter of Willis Strout and  Millie Musser/Strout --on Feb 24 1916... they had 2 children --Edna and William Lincoln---Olive was born 11-30-1897 in River Falls WI and died 11-30-1950 in Siren WI they are both buried in the Loraine Cemetery in WI.......
